BREWS & O'S AT GUINNESS OPEN GATE BREWERY

Orioles pitcher TYLER WELLS will make a special appearance and visit with Orioles fans at the Guinness Open Gate Brewery from 4:00  to 6:00 p.m.

Food & Funds DRIVE

The Baltimore Orioles and the Maryland Food Bank will host their 35th annual Food & Funds Drive at Oriole Park. Fans are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items and monetary donations with them to the ballpark, where volunteers will be on-site to collect donations. PREGAME CEREMONY: United Concordia and Maryland Food Bank Check Presentation 

United Concordia will present the Maryland Food Bank with a monetary donation in a special pregame ceremony.  

 

NATIONAL ANTHEM: Staff Sergeant Lucy McVeigh

SSG McVeigh of the U.S. Army Field Band will preform her rendition of the national anthem from behind home plate prior to the game. 

 

HONOR GUARD: Baltimore County Fire Department Honor Guard 

The Baltimore County Fire Department Honor Guard will present the colors prior to the game. 

 

FIRST PITCH: Martin Tanabe 

Maryland Food Bank volunteer, Tanabe will throw out the ceremonial first pitch prior to the game. Tanabe began volunteering with the Maryland Food Bank during the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020. He has contributed more than 350 hours to the food bank during that time. 

 

ALUMNI AUTOGRAPHS: Larry Bigbie, Rick Krivda, and Joe Orsulak

O's Alumni, Bigbie, Krivda, and Orsulak will be on Eutaw Street, near the New Era cap store, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. to sign autographs for fans, free of cost.

habitat for humanity builD DAY

Members of the Orioles employee volunteer program, Orange & Black Gives Back, along with members of the Orioles Family Program will be on-site volunteering at the Orioles Habitat for Humanity build located in Pigtown. The Orioles partnered with Habitat for Humanity as part of the on-going celebration of the 30th anniversary of Oriole Park at Camden Yards. 

 

NATIONAL ANTHEM: Sara Lauver

LAUVER will perform her rendition of the national anthem from behind home plate prior to the game. She will also perform "America The Beautiful" from on top of the Orioles dugout during the seventh inning. 

 

FIRST PITCH: Lori Campbell

A radiation oncology nurse with MedStar, CAMPBELL will throw out the ceremonial first pitch prior to the game. Campbell has been a nurse for 16 years, and a radiation oncology nurse for the past five years. She began working in oncology after being diagnosed with cancer and experiencing her own radiation treatments. 

 

BIRDLAND MEMBER REWARDS: Behind-the-Scenes Tour of Broadcast Booths

Birdland Members will get to experience a behind-the-scenes tour of the Oriole Park press level and broadcast booths. The tour will also include a meet and greet with members of the Orioles broadcast team, as well as a question and answer session. 

 

JULY 24

MILITARY MEET AND GREET: The Baltimore Station 

The Orioles will host military families from The Baltimore Station, providing them with complimentary game tickets, military themed O's caps, and a catered suite. Prior to the game, the guests will have the opportunity to take photos on the field and meet an Orioles player.

 

NATIONAL ANTHEM: Lauren Tart

TART will perform her rendition of the national anthem from behind home plate prior to the game. She will also perform "God Bless America" from on top of the Orioles dugout during the seventh inning. 

 

FIRST PITCH: Dr. Destiny-Simone Ramjohnv

The Vice President of Community Health and Social Impact at CareFirst, Dr. Ramjohnv will throw out the ceremonial first pitch prior to the game. 

 

KIDS RUN THE BASES, PRESENTED BY WEIS MARKETS

All fans ages four to 14 will have the opportunity to run the bases following the game.

NATIONAL ANTHEM: Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia

The Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia will perform their rendition of the national anthem from behind home plate prior to the game. 

 

FIRST PITCH: Dale Renlund

A Quorum of the Twelve Apostles with the Church of Latter-day Saints, RENLUND will throw out the ceremonial first pitch prior to the game. 

 

HEROES CORNER: Johns Hopkins Clinical Microbiology Lab

The internationally recognized Johns Hopkins Clinical Microbiology Lab provides diagnoses for almost 400,000 patient specimens each year. Established in 2021, Heroes Corner serves as a way for the Orioles to give back to the community and show their appreciation to our front-line workers by donating tickets to local organizations. 

 

JULY 26

Pepsi Stronger Together JR. RBI END OF SEASON PICNIC PARTY 

The Orioles, along with Pepsi Stronger Together, will host an end of season pregame picnic party to celebrate the inaugural Jr. RBI season. In addition to a fully catered picnic, members of the Jr. RBI program will enjoy a photo area, yard games, and an appearance from The Bird. The Jr. RBI Program was launched by the Orioles and Pepsi Stronger Together in 2021, giving Baltimore City youth the opportunity to play on improved fields, receive access to proper new and gently used equipment, and learn valuable life skills including teamwork, self-esteem, self-discipline, and leadership through the game of baseball and softball.

 

BIRDLAND COMMUNITY HERO: Stephanie DiMartine, Special Olympics Delaware Volunteer 

A volunteer with Special Olympics Delaware, DiMARTINE will be honored as the Birdland Community Hero. DiMartine has been volunteering with Special Olympics Delaware for the past 10 years, raising over $100,000 and serving as a bowling, bocce ball, and basketball coach. She earned the Special Olympics Delaware Volunteer of the Year award in 2018, the Game Changer Award from the Delaware Women in Sport Association in 2019, and the Delaware Governors Volunteer Service Award in 2021. As part of the her recognition, the Orioles Charitable Foundation will make a $5,000 donation to Special Olympics Delaware on DiMartine's behalf.

Pepsi DMV Senior Market Director,  Fortune will throw out the ceremonial first pitch prior to the game. 

 

JULY 27

BIRDLAND MEMBER REWARD: Mystery Mini Autograph Session

Current Orioles players will sign autographs for 100 Birdland Members in the Birdland Member

Clubhouse prior to gates opening.

 

NATIONAL ANTHEM: Army Trumpet Group

The Army Trumpet Group will perform their rendition of the national anthem from behind home plate prior to the game. 

 

JULY 28

MO GABA DAY

The Orioles will host the inaugural “Mo Gaba Day” celebrating Mo's life and legacy on the second anniversary of his passing. The Orioles will welcome his mom, Sonsy, as well as numerous family, friends, and caretakers from Johns Hopkins Children’s Center, who will be seated in the Orioles Heroes Corner. Established in 2021, Heroes Corner serves as a way for the Orioles to give back to the community and show their appreciation to our front-line workers by donating tickets to local organizations. Fans who purchase tickets for the game at Orioles.com/Tickets can choose to include a donation to the Johns Hopkins Children’s Center in Mo’s honor.
