Tonight’s game is postponed; Hunter recalled for Game 2

Tonight’s game between the Orioles and Texas Rangers has been postponed due to rain.

The teams will play a single-admission doubleheader tomorrow beginning at 4:05 p.m., with all gates opening at 3:00 p.m. The second game won’t start before 7:05 p.m.

Tickets for tonight’s game may be exchanged for seats of equal value for tomorrow’s doubleheader or any remaining non-prime home game during the 2012 season, subject to availability. Ticket exchanges must be made by June 30. The Oriole Park Box Office will open at 9:00 a.m. tomorrow.

Tickets for tomorrow’s game will be valid for both games of the doubleheader.

Ticket exchanges can be performed at the box office or submitted in writing along with the original tickets and mailed via certified mail by June 30 to:

Baltimore Orioles
Attention: May 9 Rainout
333 West Camden St.
Baltimore, MD 21201

I’ll pass along information on the Orioles’ starting pitchers a little later.

And here it is:

Wei-Yin Chen will face Colby Lewis in Game 1. Derek Holland will face Tommy Hunter in Game 2.

Hunter is being recalled, which means a player is going on the disabled list. It’s most likely outfielder Endy Chavez (intercostal).

The corresponding roster move won’t be announced until tomorrow.
