Orioles lineup against the Pirates (updated)

SARASOTA, Fla. - The Orioles are keeping their regulars at the Ed Smith Stadium complex while they travel to Bradenton to play the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Alexi Casilla is leading off again and playing shortstop, with Yamaico Navarro getting the start at second base. Conor Jackson will play first base instead of the outfield. Steve Pearce is the designated hitter.

Taylor Teagarden originally was supposed to start today, but he appeared in yesterday’s game against the Pirates and will make the trip to Fort Myers for Wednesday night’s game against the Minnesota Twins. Just a schedule adjustment.

Update: Britton was originally listed as the starter, but Arrieta will go first. No reason given, but manager Buck Showalter will be asked about it later.

Chris Tillman said the soreness on his left side is subsiding - has a nice ring to it - and he’s scheduled to play catch today and “get some feedback, see where we’re at.”

“Every day it’s gotten better. That’s a good thing,” he said.

Tillman will report to camp Tuesday during the off-day, though he’s not going to pitch in the intrasquad game.
