Anthony Santander is in center field tonight and Chance Sisco is batting third, as the Orioles open a two-game series against the Nationals at Camden Yards.

Dwight Smith Jr. is in left field and trying to snap an 0-for-26 slump.

Asher Wojciechowski is making his third start with the Orioles and his fourth appearance. He faced three batters Friday night.

The two starts have covered 9 2/3 innings, with Wojciechowski allowing seven runs and nine hits with five walks and 12 strikeouts.

Catcher Kurt Suzuki has one at-bat against Wojciechowski, in 2017, and he homered. Yan Gomes went 1-for-2 with a double back in 2015.

The Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association announced today that Trey Mancini is the recipient of the Orioles’ Heart and Hustle Award, which honors “active players who demonstrate a passion for the game of baseball and best embody the values, spirit and traditions of the game.” This is the only award in Major League Baseball that is voted on by former players.

The final winner will be announced Nov. 7 at the 20th Annual Legends for Youth Dinner in New York.

The first 25,000 fans 15 and under tonight will receive a Brooks Robinson bobblehead.
