Orioles lineup vs. Dodgers

Jonathan Villar remains in the Orioles lineup tonight as they begin a three-game series against the Dodgers at Camden Yards. He hasn’t missed a game this season.

Villar is one of six players in the majors to appear in every game. He’s trying to become the first Oriole to do it since Jonathan Schoop in 2016.

Left-hander Ty Blach has made 13 career appearances against the Dodgers, including seven starts, and posted a 2.82 ERA over 60 2/3 innings. He’s made four starts for the Orioles this season and gone 1-2 with a 9.82 ERA and 1.909 WHIP in only 18 1/3 innings.

Blach has surrendered 20 earned runs (21 total) and 23 hits with 12 walks in 18 1/3 innings.

Corey Seager is 4-for-23 (.174) against Blach. Chris Taylor is 7-for-22 (.318) with three doubles and a home run.

The Dodgers’ magic number for clinching the National League West is down to one.
