Orioles lineup vs. Rangers

Austin Hays is in center field today for his first start in the majors in two years.

The Orioles wrap up their series against the Rangers with more Hanser Alberto atop the order versus a left-hander. Renato Núñez is playing first base with Chris Davis on the bench and Mark Trumbo is the designated hitter.

Anthony Santander is in left field. He’s batting .373 (19-for-51) with 15 RBIs during his 12-game hitting streak.

Wojciechowski-Firing-vs-HOU-White-Sidebar.jpgAsher Wojciechowski has allowed nine runs and 11 hits in his last two starts over 11 innings. He was much better in his last outing, however, surrendering four runs to the Rays over seven frames.

Wojciechowski has walked one batter and struck out eight in his last two starts. He’s given up a home run in eight consecutive starts since blanking the Red Sox on one hit over 7 1/3 innings on July 21.

Today marks Wojciechowski’s first career game against the Rangers.

Left-hander Mike Minor is 12-8 with a 3.12 ERA and 1.189 WHIP in 28 starts this season. He shut out the Yankees over 7 1/3 innings in his last outing.

Minor shut out the Orioles over 5 2/3 innings on June 7, striking out seven batters. He owns a 2.89 ERA and 1.071 WHIP in 18 2/3 innings against them.
