Nats reliever Joe Hanrahan is teaming up with the American Red Cross to raise money for the flood victims in the Midwest.
He recently participated in an online auction to help those affected by the treacherous floods.
He said it really hit home that his brother’s little league field was under water and his nephew couldn’t play ball there. He said his hometown wasn’t hit as badly as others, but he wanted to help in any way he could.
If you’d like to pitch in for the flood victims be sure to visit Nationals.com or redcross.org.
