Game Preview:
Boston Red Sox (24-17) at Orioles (19-19)

Coming off their longest road trip of the season, the Orioles begin a stretch where they'll play 12 of their next 18 games at home, beginning tonight vs. AL East-leading Boston. The O's and Sox will play a two-game series tonight and Wednesday afternoon at 3:05.

The Birds are 6-7 this season vs. Eastern-division opponents, but will be facing the Sox for the first time.

The O's went 6-12 last year vs. Boston, losing 5 of the last 6. They are just 9-27 in the series since the start of 2006. The Red Sox are 54-23 at Camden Yards since 1999.
