MASN Announces 2010 Spring Training Schedule

MASN, the television home of the Washington Nationals and Baltimore Orioles, announced today its spring training schedule for the 2010 season. The network will televise eight spring training games total -- all of which will appear on MASN’s flagship dedicated high-definition channel, MASN HD.

Kicking off the baseball season on MASN, the Nationals will take on the World Series Champion Yankees on March 12th in Viera and again on March 24th in Tampa. MASN’s pre-season Nationals schedule will also include a March 15th match-up against the Braves and the April 3rd exhibition game against the Red Sox at Nationals Park. Each of the games will be televised in crystal clear high definition.

The Orioles schedule will include four games against tough AL East rivals, beginning with a March 7th game against the Red Sox in Sarasota. After facing the Yankees twice on March 25th and March 29th, the Orioles will meet the Red Sox again on March 31st. Every Orioles game will appear in HD and be televised live from the team’s new spring training home in Sarasota.

Three games will be televised in prime-time, including two Nationals games (against the Yankees and Braves) and one Orioles game (against the Yankees) with MASN’s coverage beginning at 7:00 p.m.

Friday, March 12 at 1:00 p.m. vs Yankees in Viera

Monday, March 15 at 7:00 p.m. vs Braves in Viera

Wednesday, March 24 at 7:00 p.m. vs Yankees in Tampa

Saturday, April 3 at 4:00 p.m. vs Red Sox at Nationals Park

Sunday, March 7 at 1:00 p.m. vs Red Sox in Sarasota

Thursday, March 25 at 1:00 p.m. vs Yankees in Sarasota

Monday, March 29 at 7:00 p.m. vs Yankees in Sarasota

Wednesday, March 31 at 1:00 p.m. vs Red Sox in Sarasota
