WHAT: The Washington Nationals will host tryouts for the 2010 Nat Pack - the team's in-park and around-the-District entertainment crew. Earlier this year, the club sought applications from outgoing, energetic and dedicated people interested in becoming members of the Nat Pack. Those selected were invited to this weekend's tryouts; which will include a group run, shooting the t-shirt gun, and demonstrating their best rally techniques. The second round of tryouts will take place Saturday morning and include a panel interview and questionnaire.
Media interested in covering the first round of tryouts on Friday evening should RVSP to Lisa Pagano at Lisa.Pagano@nationals.com by close of business on Thursday, February 11. Parking will be available in Lot C, located on the corner of 1st and N Streets, SE and media must enter through the Media & Suites entrance on South Capitol Street. These tryouts are not open to the public and will take place snow or shine. Media may check status of the event by calling (202) 640-7575.
