Teenagers have attitudes. Senior citizens have attitudes. Yours truly stuck in Beltway rush hour gridlock has an attitude.
But Natitude? That’s all you, Nationals fans.
We’re only a few weeks away from the start of the 2012 regular season and the buzz in the nation’s capital is fierce. This year’s squad is young, they’re hungry and they’re in prime position to reach the postseason for the first time since coming to D.C.
And in honor of the impending rise of Nationals baseball, the franchise has released its 2012 campaign, excitingly (and a little frighteningly) deemed “Natitude.”
I’m not 100 percent sure what that encompasses, but it sure sounds intense, which is exactly what Nationals fans have to be this season.
To make sure fans get to the ballpark, the Nationals have announced single game ticket sales will commence Thursday, March 8 at 10 a.m.. In the meantime, the inaugural Natitude commercials premiered on 106.7 The Fan’s broadcast of the Nationals’ first spring training game Saturday and are available to watch anytime at nationals.com.
Also, be sure to tune into MASN on Sunday at 1 p.m. when the Nationals will take on the Houston Astros. Stephen Strasburg will get the start for Washington, but is expected to last only 45 pitches, so tune in and get workin’ on that Natitude.
