This weekend at Oriole Park

Attention all female O’s fans: Cover Girl will host a booth on Eutaw Street during tonight’s game at Camden Yards. Stop by the booth to take advantage of a free makeover, and don’t forget to grab your free cosmetic gift before you leave.

Fans can also enter for a chance to win a Cover Girl makeup basket.

And while you’re still fresh from your makeover, see if you can get yourself on the Cover Girl Kiss Cam during the game.

Don’t forget that tonight is fireworks night at the Yard as well, so stick around after the final out for a free fireworks display to kick off your weekend.

Saturday at Oriole Park, OriolesREACH and the Oriole Advocates will hold their 2010 Cardboard to Leather Collection prior to the game. Gates will open at 5:00 p.m., and volunteers will be at each entrance to collect donations of new and gently used baseball and softball equipment.

So bring along any extra gloves, bats, balls, uniforms, baseball shoes, catcher’s equipment, bases, or umpire’s equipment you might have, or consider contributing a monetary donation.

Fans who donate to this year’s Cardboard to Leather initiative will receive an autographed Luke Scott player card as a thank you for their support.

The O’s will also hold a silent auction inside Gate D on the main concourse, with proceeds to benefit the Cardboard to Leather Equipment Collection. The auction will begin when gates open (again at 5:00 p.m.) and will conclude at 8:00 p.m.

This year’s equipment collected this weekend will be sent to youths in the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico and Venezuela.

Finally, this Sunday at Oriole Park promises the first 10,000 fans 15 and older an Oriole Tote Bag upon entrance to the ballpark.

So no matter your motivation, head to the Yard this weekend for some exciting giveaways and events and help keep those crowds of Yankees fans at bay!
