Think the O’s can slide past the Yankees in the American League Division Series? Excited about the prospect of an American League Championship Series date with the Tigers or Athletics?
Then plan to be at a computer Tuesday at 10 a.m. when tickets to potential Games 3, 4 and 5 in Baltimore will go on sale to the general public exclusively online at www.orioles.com/postseason.
The Orioles warn that ticket availability is expected to be limited and tickets could sell out quickly. The allotment is smaller because season plan holders and those selected for a special online pre-sale will have already purchased their tickets.
An ALCS hasn’t been played in Baltimore since the memorable 1997 series between the Orioles and Indians.
Along with news that ALCS tickets will be made available Tuesday, the Orioles also released some information regarding potential World Series tickets.
No date has been announced for sale to the general public, but fans can take advantage of two potential options to get tickets early. They will receive the opportunity to purchase World Series tickets as part of a yet to be announced pre-sale by placing a $250 per seat deposit on a 2013 full or partial season ticket plan, including 13-game plans, by Tuesday at 11:59 p.m.
Fans can also register a valid email address at www.orioles.com/postseason for a chance to be selected to participate in a special pre-sale prior to World Series tickets being released to the general public. Fans are encouraged to enter the postseason ticket opportunity in order to have a better chance at acquiring postseason tickets. Fans are not guaranteed to be selected.
A public sale for World Series tickets will be announced at a later date.
