Webb hurts left knee (Ngata returns, Webb won’t)

On top of the fact that the Cowboys rolled up 94 rushing yards and 141 overall to the Ravens’ 68 in the first quarter, top cornerback Lardarius Webb is questionable to return.

On the first play of this drive, Webb went down grabbing his left knee when covering Dez Bryant. Webb had to be helped off the field and has since been taken to the locker room. With Cary Williams having significant consistency issues so far this year, Webb’s loss could be crushing.

Webb ended his rookie season on injured reserve with a torn right ACL in 2009, but this was his left knee.

Update: Haloti Ngata has left the game, too, with an apparent leg injury. He limped off the field and went down to the locker room moments later.

Ngata had been listed as probable for the contest with a shoulder injury.

Losing Webb and Ngata in a matter of minutes? Not good news for the Ravens.

Update II: Ngata suffered a knee sprain, but could return. Webb reportedly is out for the rest of the game with his left knee sprain.

Instant update: Ngata might be hobbled, but he’s back on the field for third down with a little more than two minutes to go in the first half. Take that, knee injury.
