The Ravens have turned to a familiar face to add wide receiver depth following the loss of Jacoby Jones.
Baltimore re-signed Tandon Doss on Monday, according to The Sun. The team cut him on Aug. 31.
Doss, 23, was selected by the Ravens in the fourth round of the 2011 draft. He had a rough preseason, making several notable mistakes while also adding a handful of plays in the passing game.
Doss has appeared in 20 games over his first two pro seasons, with all seven of his career catches (for 123 yards and a touchdown) coming in 2012.
After being released by Baltimore, Doss worked out for Green Bay, but was not signed. And now he’s back in purple and black.
Update: The Ravens have officially announced the re-signing of Doss. Linebacker Robert James has been released to make room on the roster.
