Linebacker Jameel McClain appears poised to return to the Ravens' active lineup for the first time since Dec. 9 last season.
The Ravens reinstated McClain to the 53-man roster Saturday after he had spent the entire season to this point on the physically unable to perform list because of a spinal cord contusion. To make room on the roster, the Ravens - you guessed it - cut veteran tight end Billy Bajema again.
Bajema has been a part of seven transactions since being cut at the end of training camp. The likelihood is he'll be re-signed at some point.
There's no guarantee that McClain will play against the Steelers on Sunday, but the fact that he was activated this afternoon is a good sign that that will be the case.
