Down 10 with less than five minutes left in the fourth quarter, the Browns were driving and had a shot to get to within one score of the Ravens.
Then, Browns quarterback Colt McCoy forgot that Ed Reed was on the field.
McCoy floated up a jump ball in the end zone, and Reed came over for the interception. It was just Ed being Ed.
Ed continued to be Ed on the return, making a completely unnecessary lateral that put the ball on the turf for a second before Lardarius Webb could fall on it and secure possession for the Ravens.
Guess we'll just have to take the silly plays along with the spectacular ones.
Reed's pick, his second of the day, should clinch the win and a playoff spot for Baltimore.
Only a few minutes now stand between the Ravens and yet another trip to the postseason.
