Birk, Cody, Redding return to practice

After sitting out yesterday’s session, center Matt Birk (knee), defensive end Cory Redding (toe) and nose tackle Terrence Cody (concussion) all returned to the practice field today.

Birk had a full practice after getting a day off to rest his injured left knee, while Redding and Cody were both limited. Cornerback Chris Carr (hamstring) was limited for a second straight day.

Four Ravens did not practice today: wide receiver Lee Evans (ankle), guard Ben Grubbs (toe), wide receiver David Reed (shoulder) and cornerback Jimmy Smith (ankle).

For the Rams, starting running back Steven Jackson (quad) was back practicing today in a limited capacity. This marks Jackson’s first practice since injuring the quad early in St. Louis’ season opener. He did not play Monday against the Giants.

Wide receiver Danny Amendola (elbow) and backup running back Carnell Williams (hamstring) did not practice today for a second straight day.

Defensive end CJ Ah You (wrist), tight end Michael Hoomanawanui (calf) and linebacker Ben Leber (groin) all were limited for the Rams today, while wide receiver Greg Salas (ribs) had a full practice.
