Rookie wide receiver Tandon Doss and first-year outside linebacker Sergio Kindle will not be making their NFL debuts today.
Doss and Kindle are among the Ravens' inactives, meaning they won't suit up for this afternoon's game against the Steelers.
The Ravens will go with five receivers active today, and undrafted rookie LaQuan Williams gets the call over Doss, a fourth-round pick. Williams might be called on in the return game today.
Kindle, who missed all of last year after fracturing his skull, has yet to appear in a game since being drafted in the second round over 17 months ago. He'll have to wait a little bit longer, as the Texas product will not play today.
Center Matt Birk (knee), wide receiver Lee Evans (left ankle), left guard Ben Grubbs (thigh), backup quarterback Tyrod Taylor (shoulder) and cornerback Chris Carr (hamstring) are all active and will play today despite battling injuries.
Here are the Ravens' seven inactives: wide receiver Tandon Doss, cornerback Chykie Brown, linebacker Michael McAdoo, linebacker Jason Phillips, guard/center Bryan Mattison, nose tackle Brandon McKinney, outside linebacker Sergio Kindle.
The Steelers' inactives are: quarterback Dennis Dixon, running back Jonathan Dwyer, cornerback Curtis Brown, linebacker Chris Carter, tackle Chris Scott, guard Ramon Foster and wide receiver Jerricho Cotchery.
The Ravens are sporting white jerseys and black pants today, while the Steelers will wear their black jerseys and yellow pants.
The offense will get the individual introductions for the Ravens prior to kickoff. We won't see the Ray Lewis dance today - unless Joe Flacco decides he wants to break it out.
