No sign of Suggs, E. Reed during Thursday's practice

As promised, wide receiver Lee Evans was back at practice today for a second straight day.

Center Matt Birk also was out on the field this afternoon after he had missed Wednesday's practice with a neck injury.

Birk's injury isn't anything major; the Ravens just like to give the 14-year veteran a Wednesday off every now and then to allow his neck and surgically repaired knee to heal up.

While those two offensive players were at practice, two key defensive players - safety Ed Reed and linebacker Terrell Suggs - were not present during the open media portion of today's session.

Neither player was listed on the Ravens' injury report yesterday.

Also absent today was linebacker Brendon Ayanbadejo, who suffered a minor concussion last Sunday against the Steelers.
