This is starting to get interesting.
Billy Cundiff was not on the field during the open media portion of today's practice, marking the second straight day that the Ravens' kicker has been absent due to a left calf injury.
The positive news is that the injury isn't to Cundiff's kicking leg, but his plant leg. The negative news is that the Ravens might be forced to sign another kicker if they feel there's a chance Cundiff won't be able to play Sunday against the Colts.
We'll have to wait and see what head coach John Harbaugh has to say about Cundiff's status after practice.
Linebacker Ray Lewis (toe) and cornerback Chris Carr (back) also were not practicing during the open media portion of today's session.
Center Matt Birk (shoulder) did return to practice after missing the last two days.
