Report: Ravens set to workout Boller, Dixon (updated)

The Ravens are going to work out quarterback Kyle Boller on Thursday, according to this report from Boller, a former first-round pick of the Ravens in 2003, hasn’t played for the franchise since 2007.

Boller was set to be quarterback of the team in 2008, but suffered a shoulder injury and the Ravens placed him on injured reserve.

As a starter, Boller didn’t have much success with the Ravens, going just 20-22 in five seasons.

It’s also noted in that report that the Ravens will be working out former Steelers quarterback Dennis Dixon.

Dixon started against the Ravens in 2009 and lost because of an interception in overtime. He’s a former fifth-round pick.

Update: The NFL Network is also reporting former Colts quarterback Curtis Painter will join the pair of Dixon and Boller. If I had to choose, I’d go with Boller in this scenario.

What do you think - which of these two quarterbacks should the Ravens sign, if they choose to sign either one?
