Blake Davis gets first major league start

Blake Davis is in the starting lineup today at second base.

Orioles pitchers are a combined 5-for-12 (.417) at the plate this year with two doubles and two RBIs. All other AL teams are a combined 9-for-120 (.075). Britton recorded his first major league hit Friday in Washington.

The Orioles have collected 62 hits in the last five games, but they’ve scored only 24 runs.

Markakis has hit in 12 straight games, going 21-for-55 (.382) with three doubles, a homer, seven RBIs and six runs scored.

According to STATS LLC, Reynolds is the first third baseman with 16 errors through June 21 since the Pirates Ed Sprague in 1999.
