Orioles and Tigers lineups

Facing a right-handed starter today, the Orioles have found spots in the lineup for Pedro Álvarez, Anthony Santander and Chance Sisco.

Álvarez is batting second against the Tigers’ Jordan Zimmermann as the Orioles try to avoid being swept on their road trip.

Luis Sardiñas, who hit a game-tying home run yesterday in the top of the ninth inning, is playing second base this afternoon and batting sixth.

Trey-Mancini-watches-white-sidebar.jpgTrey Mancini is batting .346 (18-for-52) with a .414 on base percentage in 12 games atop the order.

The rotation’s eight quality starts rank fourth in the American League and tied for sixth in the majors. The Orioles are 3-5 in those games.
