Floyd, who is from Annapolis and played his high school ball at Baltimore's Mt. St. Joe, is pitching very well recently. Over his last five starts, he is 2-1, 2.31.

His last 14 starts: 7-2, 2.59

Floyd can be very tough early in the game. Opponent batters hit just .179 off him in the first three innings of his starts. The White Sox are 14-10 when he starts.
