The Nationals start a four-game series in Cincinnati tonight, during which they’ll face one of the toughest pitching staffs in baseball. That starts tonight with right-hander Johnny Cueto on the mound. No one on the roster has faced the young right-hander much, but in the limited time they’ve seen him, the Nationals have a couple players with strong career numbers against Cueto. Not surprisingly, they’re both left-handers (Nyjer Morgan and Adam Dunn, who have a 1.482 and 1.300 OPS, respectively, in eight career plate appearances against Cueto).
Willie Harris, who is 2-for-9 lifetime against Cueto, starts in right field. Once the Reds’ lineup is available, I’ll post it.
