Jesus Flores, who has been playing with the Navegantes del Magallenes in the Venezuelan Winter League, was taken off his team's roster last week with a strained calf while the club was on the road. But he is scheduled to e re-evaluated this week and could be added back to the roster soon, a Nationals spokesman said in an email.
The Nationals don't believe the injury to Flores, who has missed most of the last two seasons with shoulder injuries, is serious.
