KISSIMMMEE, Fla. - X-rays on Danny Espinosa's right foot came back negative this afternoon, meaning the Nationals second baseman didn't break any bones after fouling a pitch off the top of his foot last night.
Espinosa is day-to-day, and will continue to be re-evaluated by the Nationals' medical staff, a team spokesman said in an e-mail. Manager Jim Riggleman said this morning that Espinosa will be back in the team's lineup tomorrow night.
