Bryce Harper is officially going on the 7-day disabled list at Double-A Harrisburg, after a doctor confirmed he strained his right hamstring while trying to run from first to third last night.
Harper would be able to return on Aug. 25, but with only 11 days left in the minor league season at that point, it seems hard to believe the Nationals would bring him back unless his injury is fairly minor. Manager Davey Johnson said today that he didn't think Harper would play again this season.
