MASN will host Riggleman's exclusive blog on MASNsports.com, the premier online destination for Nationals fans. As part of the partnership, Riggleman will write a weekly blog; he will also interact with fans by answering their questions each week. Riggleman will be discussing the performance of the Nationals and explaining the game from a manager's perspective. He will also write about other interesting topics of his own choosing. On Wednesdays, Riggleman will join MASN's broadcast for special "Wired Wednesday" updates straight from the dugout. His first live appearance from the dugout will be during tonight's game in Milwaukee at 8 p.m. on MASN HD and MASN. Riggleman, a native of the Washington D.C. area, was named interim manager of the Nationals on July 12, 2009. Jim previously served as manager of the San Diego Padres, Chicago Cubs and Seattle Mariners. He has spent over 16 years as a manager or coach at the major league level. "Coming to the helm halfway through the season doesn't normally provide a manager with many opportunities to interact with fans directly, so I am thrilled to begin this blog with MASN to share some of my thoughts about our club and answer your questions," said Nationals' interim manager Jim Riggleman. "Our fans have been tremendous during some difficult times this year and I'm really looking forward to interacting with them more directly -- on my new blog at MASNsports.com, at the ballpark and in the community," he continued. "MASN continues to utilize both our television broadcast and our premier website to give fans unmatched access to the Washington Nationals," said MASN spokesman Todd Webster. "It's an honor to add Jim's baseball insight and wisdom to our team at MASNsports.com." With every available Nationals game, an All Star talent team, 105 high definition broadcasts and pre and post game shows before and after every game, MASN is maximum access to the Washington Nationals. MASNsports.com provides extensive online coverage of the Washington Nationals with Adam Dunn's "Getting it Dunn" blog, a dedicated beat writer, Pete McElroy, talent blogs featuring Phil Wood, Debbi Taylor, Rob Dibble, Bob Carpenter, Johnny Holliday, Ray Knight and Byron Kerr, a Nationals Buzz blog, up to the minute video clips in MASN's Media Lounge, series previews, live game blogs and more.
