Orioles announce Birdland Caravan events

The Orioles today announced the return of the club’s “Birdland Caravan,” a winter tour that will take place from Thursday, January 22, through Saturday, January 24, at multiple locations throughout the region. The celebration will include happy hours, bowling, pop-up photo opportunities at surprise locations, mascot meet and greets, and an opportunity to hear from some of the newest members of the organization. Fresh for 2026, fans can attend mall festivals with stage shows and activities, family bingo, and a breakfast event. 

Current Orioles players participating in select events include PETE ALONSO, SAMUEL BASALLO, DYLAN BEAVERS, DIETRICH ENNS, RYAN HELSLEY, GUNNAR HENDERSON, JACKSON HOLLIDAY, JEREMIAH JACKSON, TREVOR ROGERS, ADLEY RUTSCHMAN, TYLER WELLS, JORDAN WESTBURG, and GRANT WOLFRAM, along with Orioles Manager CRAIG ALBERNAZ.

Designed to take the Oriole Park experience directly to the fans, Birdland Caravan will make stops throughout Maryland including Baltimore, Bethesda, Ellicott City, Halethorpe, Linthicum Heights, Sykesville, White Marsh, and a mystery Pop-Up Photo Op location in Prince George’s County. Fans in Bel Air and Frederick will also have the opportunity to meet and take photos with Orioles Alumni including BRAD BRACH, the Oriole Bird, and Mr. Splash. 

Tickets are required for several key events, including the “Meet the New O's” event, breakfast with the O’s, family bingo, bowling, and all happy hours. All profits from 2026 Birdland Caravan events will benefit the Orioles Charitable Foundation, supporting impactful community initiatives and programs. Fans must purchase tickets in advance as availability will be limited. To kick the weekend off, fans are invited to the Senator Theatre in Baltimore City for a “Meet the New O’s” Q&A event with Albernaz and Alonso as they get their first large welcome from the best fans in baseball. Tickets are required and can be purchased at Orioles.com/Caravan.

Birdland Caravan will continue on Friday, January 23, with both buses making surprise visits to local schools in Baltimore City, turning an ordinary school day into an unforgettable experience. One bus will then visit GameOn in the Federal Hill neighborhood of Baltimore to enjoy an evening playing an array of retro arcade games with O’s fans. Another bus will host an exclusive tasting event at Guinness Open Gate Brewery where they will enjoy a pairing of a Guinness flight of beers and appetizer samples, along with a Q&A with fans. Birdland Caravan continues on Saturday, January 24, with “Kids Day,” presented by the Maryland College Investment Plan, a fun-filled day packed with youth-focused events for kids of all ages. The excitement begins bright and early, kicking off with two unique experiential events where fans can mingle with players and mascots by attending a breakfast with the O’s at Turf Valley Resort in Ellicott City, or show off their duckpin bowling skills at AMF Southwest in Linthicum Heights. One bus will then attend a family bingo event in Sykesville, before joining MedStar Health to visit with patients at MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center. The second bus will visit Burtonsville Fire Department, the station of Lt. Christopher Higgins, who passed away nearly a year ago in the line of duty. The Orioles will be joining the First Responders Children’s Foundation, an organization that helps support the children and families of first responders who have been killed or injured in the line of duty, to provide a grant to the Higgins family and greet the same shift of firefighters that worked alongside Higgins.  Tickets are required for breakfast and bowling events and are now available at Orioles.com/Caravan.

Caravan will conclude Saturday evening with mall festivals to get Birdland excited for the upcoming start of the season. Bus one will visit the White Marsh Mall, and bus two will visit the Westfield Montgomery Mall. Fans can enjoy stage shows and games, kid-friendly activities, and Q&As among other exciting elements.
