She'll also provide exclusive one-on-one player interviews which will be played throughout the day, and will maintain a blog on the station's website - www.1057TheFan.com. According to the most recent radio ratings, 105.7 The Fan is Baltimore's number one sports station for men 25-54. Royle, a veteran sports journalist, will cover national baseball stories for MASNsports.com on her exclusive blog, "The Royle Rundown." She will also cover the Orioles and Nationals on television and online. Royle will assist with production of MASN player, manager and executive blogs featuring Adam Dunn, Brian Roberts, Mike Rizzo, Dave Trembley and Jim Riggleman. Her on-air work will feature appearances on O's Xtra and Nats Xtra including feature segments with Nationals and Orioles players, in-game updates and promotions and public service announcements for the network. Royle comes to MASN and 105.7 The Fan after six years with the YES Network where she conducted exclusive one-on-one web interviews with Major League newsmakers. At Yes Network, Royle conducted on-camera features for the Yankees pre-game show and was a sideline reporter for Women's Professional Softball. Most recently, Royle served a national baseball reporter for Sirius|XM Radio covering all Major League teams from the New York Mets and New York Yankees clubhouses. Royle has also covered the Baseball Winter Meetings and several MLB All-Star Games including the 2008 Mid-Summer Classic at Yankee Stadium. "I am excited to bring my passion for Major League Baseball to the mid-Atlantic region," said Royle. "Having spent years in the A.L. East, I am very familiar with the division and the significant opportunity for the Orioles. "While there were options in other markets, I fell in love with the city of Baltimore after my first interview at CBS. I am excited about the opportunity to join the number one sports radio station in a competitive sports market, and to report for a national-caliber regional sports network. MASN has earned a reputation for excellence and I'm looking forward to making a big contribution," Royle continued. With every game live and in high definition, an All Star talent team and pre and post-game shows before and after every game, MASN provides maximum access to the Baltimore Orioles and Washington Nationals. MASNsports.com provides extensive online coverage of both teams with dedicated beat writers, exclusive MASN talent blogs, player, manager and general manager blogs, up to the minute video clips in MASN's Media Lounge, series previews, a MASN Fantasy Baseball game, live in-game statistics, online chats and more. MASN is currently carried on 23 cable and satellite providers throughout a seven-state region.
