The Orioles today announced that they have placed CA Matt Wieters on the 15-day disabled list with a strained right hamstring, retroactive to July 10. Wieters, 24, has batted .245 (66-269) with six home runs and 29 RBI in 77 games for the Orioles. A corresponding roster move will be announced tomorrow.
