Chris Tillman was satisfied with today's performance, though he wanted to complete three innings. He threw two cutters in the game and also worked on the pitch in the bullpen. "I thought it went well," he said. "I threw all my pitches. I threw some realy good cutters, good curveballs, quite a few good changeups, and threw a lot of fastballs that could go either way. They were right there borderline, which I think was positive for me. I think it went good." Tillman had a plan and stuck with it, whether the hitters were looking for the pitches or not. That's one purpose of spring training. "I definitely came out with a positive outcome of this game," he said. "I wanted to locate my fastball and felt I missed a few, but threw a lot of good ones, too. For the most part, I thought I did pretty well. I wanted to get three innings in, but I threw a lot of pitches early on. I had that dragged-out first inning that went a little longer than planned. There's nothing you can do about that."
