Mahoney is 0-for-4 in two games with the Orioles. He replaced Reynolds at first base last night.

Once the Orioles go back to a four-man bench, which figures to be sooner rather than later, they could recall Ryan Flaherty, who’s starting at first tonight at Triple-A Norfolk. That’s one possibility.

The Orioles are off when Britton’s turn comes up again on Thursday, so Showalter can adjust his rotation accordingly.
