MASN, the region’s leader in live sports entertainment, has announced an extensive NCAA college football schedule for the 2012 season. Utilizing both MASN and MASN2, the network will broadcast 39 games featuring seven conferences, including some of the most prolific football programs in the nation, along with local colleges and universities in MASN’s seven-state footprint.
Fans from Harrisburg, Pa., to Charlotte, N.C., will again enjoy maximum access to games featuring the Big East, Big…MASN, the region’s leader in live sports entertainment, has announced an extensive NCAA college football schedule for the 2012 season. Utilizing both MASN and MASN2, the network will broadcast 39 games featuring seven conferences, including some of the most prolific football programs in the nation, along with local colleges and universities in MASN’s seven-state footprint.
Fans from Harrisburg, Pa., to Charlotte, N.C., will again enjoy maximum access to games featuring the Big East, Big South, Patriot League and Western Athletic Conference. College football action on MASN kicks off on Friday, Aug. 31 when Connecticut hosts Massachusetts on MASN HD. The first broadcast on MASN2 HD comes Sept. 8, when North Carolina State visits UConn.
MASN will once again be home to “The Big East Game of the Week,” which will be televised in high definition and feature Louisville, ranked 25th in the AP Preseason Top 25, along with Big East members Cincinnati, UConn, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, South Florida, Syracuse and Temple. With 10 Big South games, MASN will again serve as the official cable network of the Big South Conference.
Once again, MASN will televise the annual game between Lehigh and Lafayette on Nov. 17 at 1:30 p.m. on MASN2 HD. Known as “The Rivalry,” this is the most-played football rivalry in the nation, now in its 148th meeting.
In addition to its game broadcasts, MASN televises the best coaches and magazine shows throughout the season, including “R Football with Kyle Flood,” “Inside Duke Football with David Cutcliffe” and “Inside East Carolina Football with Ruffin McNeill.”
MASN is available on 29 cable systems and operators throughout a seven-state territory. The full schedule is available here.
