The Orioles have had seven different players drive in a run in each of the last two games. Last night’s roll call included Matt Wieters (three), Mark Reynolds (two), Nate McLouth, J.J. Hardy, Adam Jones, Manny Machado and Endy Chavez.
According to Elias, this is the fifth time a major league team has had seven different players register RBIs in back-to-back games this season. The Orioles hadn’t done it since April 3-5, 2006. They’ve never done it three games in a row.

The Orioles have not made an error in their last seven games and have committed only one error in their last 11 games – on Machado’s errant throw on the first play of the Sept. 9 game against the Yankees, when he made a barehanded pickup of Derek Jeter’s slow roller.
The Orioles have not made an error in the last 74 innings, their longest streak since they went 76 error-free innings Aug. 22-30, 2011. According to Elias, their next-longest error-free innings streak was 101 from April 30-May 12, 2007.
Remember when the Orioles led the majors in errors? Their 99 errors tie them for sixth behind the Rockies (114), Padres (108), Rays (106), Astros (105) and Giants (102).
The Orioles are 46-29 when they don’t commit an error.
The Orioles have hit 191 home runs this season, tying the 2011 club for the seventh-most in franchise history. The 1997 team has the sixth-highest total with 196 and the 1996 team holds the record with 257.
The Orioles are 65-19 when their starting pitchers go six innings or more. They’re 66-0 when leading after the seventh inning and 68-1 when leading after the eighth. They’re 51-21 when they score first and 71-36 when they homer.
None of the Orioles have faced Mariners starter Erasmo Ramirez.
