From the hiring of a new third base coach to the Indians’ acquisition of Mark Reynolds, there have been some changes around the Orioles organization this week.
The Orioles have officially named their third base coach, promoting Bobby Dickerson, who has served as the team’s minor league infield coordinator for the last three seasons.
Reynolds signed a one-year, $6 million deal with the Indians on Sunday, making Chris Davis the likely everyday first baseman.

After passing his physical, Nate McLouth signed his one-year contract with the Birds. Buck Showalter must now decide who will bat leadoff in 2013.
The Orioles hosted the 34th Annual OriolesREACH Holiday Party for Kids at Dave & Busters at Arundel Mills Mall on Tuesday, and at the event, Nick Markakis said, “The whole country knows what the Baltimore Orioles are about now.”
