The staff members who will work with the players include Dave Schmidt, Alan Mills, Wilson Alvarez, Ryan Minor, Matt Merullo, Butch Davis, Milt May, Ramon Sambo and Scott Thomas.
These workouts are scheduled to take place at the club’s minor league complex. The bulk of the organization’s minor league pitchers and catchers are scheduled to report March 2 with position players reporting March 7 and the first minor league exhibition games set for March 13.
You would think many of the listed players could get into some early Orioles spring training games and the first O’s game is set for Feb. 23 versus Minnesota. Orioles pitchers and catchers are due to report to Ed Smith Stadium next Tuesday, with position players reporting next Thursday.
