Over those six games, the Orioles have posted 55 runs. Is that a lot? On the flipside, opponents posted 35.

On Friday, Brian Roberts got the offense going versus the Pirates, going 3-for-3 with a home run.

Yesterday’s win seemed like a win ripped out of the 2012 season, coming on a walk-off home run. Down to his last strike, Ryan Flaherty hit a three-run homer to give the Birds an 11-10 win over the Blue Jays.

This win came just a day removed from the Birds’ crushing of Spain’s World Baseball Classic team, in which the Orioles put up 19 runs.

While the Birds fell to the Rays on Saturday, Wei-Yin Chen pitched two scoreless innings in his spring training debut. The next day, Miguel Gonzalez followed with two scoreless innings in his debut, which helped lead to a 12-3 win over the Phillies.

On Tuesday, the game ended in a tie, but home runs were hit by both Steve Pearce and Conor Jackson, the first baseman/outfielder looking to complete his comeback story.

Be sure to come to Camden Yards on April 20. The Orioles are honoring legendary manager Earl Weaver with a public ceremony, which will feature a video tribute, notable speakers and free parking and admission.
