Oriole great and National Baseball Hall of Famer Brooks Robinson is the subject of this year’s Babe Ruth Museum annual gala celebration, which honors a different “significant figure or crowning achievement in Maryland sports history” each year.
“An Evening with Brooks,” will kick off with a VIP cocktail reception at the Meyerhoff Symphony Hall with a program honoring Brooksie to follow. “An Evening with Brooks,” will kick off with a VIP cocktail reception at the Meyerhoff Symphony Hall with a program honoring Brooksie to follow. The reception spans from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. and the program is scheduled for 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Expect tributes to Brooks from special guests, heavy passed hors d’oeuvres, food stations, an open bar, and a silent auction throughout the evening.
Tickets to the VIP cocktail reception and the program afterward are $105 and tickets for the program only are a reduced $55. Proceeds benefit The Babe Ruth Birthplace Foundation with $5.00 from each ticket donated to the American Cancer Society in honor of Brooks and Constance Robinson.
