Here are some of the impressive stats for the Orioles after they won today 6-3 against Tampa Bay to take two of three in that series.
* Chris Davis had an amazing series, going 7-for-11 with three doubles, three homers and 11 RBIs. He somehow managed to work a single in there. He exits this series batting .636 with a slugging percentage of 1.727 and a 2.420 OPS.

* Against right-handed pitchers in this series, Davis went 6-for-6 with three doubles, two homers and eight RBIs. He posted a 2.500 slugging percentage and OPS of 3.500 against Tampa right-handers.
* The Orioles scored 16 runs in nine games last season at Tropicana Field. In just this series, they scored 20, batting .300 (33-for-110) with 10 doubles and five homers.
* The Orioles won nine of 12 road series last season against American League East opponents and start 1-0 this year.
* The Orioles are now 8-3 against Tampa Bay, including a 5-3 mark in St. Petersburg, since last Aug. 4.
* Today’s winning pitcher, Miguel Gonzalez, gave up just two runs over 6 1/3 innings today. Since allowing seven runs in just 2 2/3 innings in his first career outing versus the Rays, he has pitched to an ERA of 1.40 in his last four starts.
* The Orioles are 12-4 in Gonzalez’s 16 career starts, including a record of 10-2 over his past 12.
