Miguel Gonzalez not listed among starters for Boston series

A few eyebrows were raised today when the Orioles released the probable starting pitchers for the upcoming Boston series and Miguel Gonzalez was not listed.
The Orioles list Wei-Yin Chen to pitch game one of that series tomorrow afternoon with Jake Arrieta going Wednesday, after an off day and Chris Tillman on Thursday night.
Gonzalez, who gave up two runs over 6 1/3 innings in his first start in the third game of the Tampa Bay series, would have been in line to start Wednesday in Boston,…A few eyebrows were raised today when the Orioles released the probable starting pitchers for the upcoming Boston series and Miguel Gonzalez was not listed.

Gonzalez, who gave up two runs over 6 1/3 innings in his first start in the third game of the Tampa Bay series, would have been in line to start Wednesday in Boston, pitching the game following Chen.
It sounds like there is a chance he could get scheduled to start one of the games in New York in the series that begins next Friday at Yankee Stadium.
If he does, then it would mean he’s being pushed back a few days. Why that is, we don’t know at this point. I’m sure we’ll hear more about Gonzalez after the game.
