David Hernandez got off to a rough start giving up two first inning home runs. The first was a two-run bomb to Dustin Pedroia and the second was a solo to Kevin Youkilis.
Hernandez seemed to battle his control in the first inning. However, he seemed to regroup in the second before giving up another solo home run to Alex Gonzalez.
Chris Lambert, just recalled Tuesday, has entered the game with the O’s down 5-0. Hernandez threw 83 pitches.
