RHP Jason Berken (3-11, 6.49) tonight will make his 18th start of the year, his 10th at home and the 1st of his career vs. Cleveland.
In 86 innings, Berken has allowed 113 hits, including 13 homers. The Orioles are just 4-13 when he starts.
Berken, who has thrown over 100 pitches in a game just three times this year, is 1-6, 5.48 in nine home starts on the season.

Berken was drafted in round six by the O’s in 2006 out of Clemson. In 66 career O’s minor league starts, he went 25-18, 3.74.
RHP Fausto Carmona (3-8, 5.92) tonight makes his 18th start of this season, his 8th on the road and the 6th of his career vs. the Orioles.
He got the win in his last start, Sunday vs. Seattle. In seven innings, he allowed just five hits and one run. He struck out eight batters.
Carmona spent some of June and July in the minors. In July, in five starts with Triple-A Columbus, he was 1-3, 3.55.
Since returning from the minors, he is 1-2, 2.79 in five starts.
Right-handed batters are hitting .224 off him and lefties are batting .315. In seven road starts this year, he is 2-3, 8.25.
Carmona was 4th in the Cy Young voting in 2007 when he was a 19-game winner. He is a product of the Indians’ Dominican Academy and was the Tribe’s Minor League Pitcher of the Year in 2003.
