Feldman is 1-3 with a 7.66 ERA in his four starts in Baltimore since being acquired from the Cubs on July 2, allowing 19 earned runs over 22 1/3 innings.

Feldman surrendered seven runs and nine hits in 5 1/3 innings against the Rangers, three runs and five hits in 7 1/3 innings against the Blue Jays, four runs and six hits in five innings against the Red Sox, and five runs and seven hits in 4 2/3…Scott Feldman gets another chance today to make himself feel right at home in Camden Yards.

I’m fairly confident that Michael Cuddyer will be in the lineup again today. He’s 7-for-13 with three doubles, two homers and five RBIs lifetime against Feldman.

The Rockies are sending right-hander Jhoulys Chacin to the mound. He’s 11-6 with a 3.18 ERA and seven consecutive quality starts.

Anyone know how to pronounce his name? I’m talking first and last.

Chacin has never faced the Orioles, and only two of their current players have batted against him. Nate McLouth is 1-for-4 with a double and three walks, and Steve Pearce is 0-for-1 with a walk.

Shortstop J.J. Hardy expects to return to the lineup today after being a late scratch yesterday due to back spasms. Manager Buck Showalter will check on him again this morning.

You never know with backs.

Brian Roberts will certainly stay in the lineup. He went 1-for-2 with a double, two RBIs, two walks and a run scored last night. He’s recorded multiple hits in four of his last five games and has hit safely in five of six, going 9-for-20 (.450) with two doubles, a triple, five RBIs, four walks and four runs scored.

Roberts had multiple walks last night for the first time since June 30, 2012 against the Indians.

The Orioles’ last five home series have come down to a third game to determine the winner, and they’ve gone 2-2.

The Orioles didn’t commit an error last night, keeping their total at 36 and putting them on pace for only 48 in 162 games. If you don’t know by now that the major league record is 65 by the 2003 Mariners, well, I’ve failed you. Plain and simple.
