Urrutia went 2-for-6 and drove in five runs.

The Orioles are expected to recall Urrutia when rosters expand next month, though it’s still being discussed.

Garcia allowed eight runs and seven hits in 3 2/3 innings, with five walks, one strikeout and two wild pitches.

Wada will come up in September and most likely work out of the bullpen. Not much room in the rotation.

Outfielder Dariel Alvarez, making his debut tonight at Double-A Bowie, went 0-for-4 with three strikeouts.

Baysox catcher Caleb Joseph hit his 20th home run tonight. He’s batting .295 with 94 RBIs.

Eduardo Rodriguez, 20, turned in his best start for Bowie with eight scoreless innings against Binghamton. He allowed two hits, walked none and struck out five.

In his last three starts, Rodriguez has permitted only one run over 19 innings.

Single-A Frederick second baseman Travis Adair, son of Orioles pitching coach Rick Adair, extended his hitting streak to 17 games tonight.

Keys first baseman Michael Mosby homered twice and drove in four runs.

Hunter Harvey, the Orioles’ first pick in this year’s First-Year Player Draft, made his second start at short-season Single-A Aberdeen and allowed three runs and six hits in 3 1/3 innings. He walked two and struck out five.

Outfielder Lew Ford, released earlier today from his Bowie contract, just tweeted the following:
