It didn’t take long for Jones to prove his value, making the All-Star team and winning a Gold Glove in his second season in Baltimore, but Tillman took more time to develop. In 2013, Tillman won 16 games with a 3.71 ERA and a 1.22 WHIP in 206 1/3 innings. Not only was he named to his first All-Star Game, but more importantly, Tillman emerged as the Orioles’ ace.
