With backhanded stops, barehanded plays and diving grabs, Orioles fans are spoiled by watching Manny Machado’s great defensive plays game in and game out.
In his first All-Star Game, Machado demonstrated his tremendous defensive talent to the entire nation on Paul Goldschmidt’s bouncer down the line. A play that looks almost routine to Baltimore fans opened the eyes of baseball enthusiasts everywhere to the Orioles’ rising star.
