Steve Pearce will make his first start today, serving as the Orioles’ designated hitter for their 1:35 p.m. game against the Blue Jays at Camden Yard.
Delmon Young is in left field. J.J. Hardy makes his second consecutive start at shortstop after missing six of seven games due to spasms and tightness in his lower back.
Also, hitting coach Jim Presley has returned to the team. He missed the last two games with an illness.
